What it is
Ni contigo ni sin ti recreates the show ‘Dos pájaros de un tiro’, the tour and live album that Joan Manuel Serrat and Joaquín Sabina shared from 2007 and later extended with ‘Dos pájaros contraatacan’. As in that show, the two men's songs alternate: Serrat sings Sabina, Sabina sings Serrat, and at other moments they perform as a duet. The singers from Úbeda José Manuel Ortega, in the role of Serrat, and José María Ruiz, as Sabina, are accompanied by an eight-piece band and take care over the repertoire, the costumes, the set and the emblematic stool and bowler hat. The songs include ‘Mediterráneo’, ‘Princesa’, ‘Penélope’, ‘Lucía’, ‘Pueblo blanco’ and ‘Y nos dieron las diez’.
