What it is / What you will see

La Guzmán El Bueno is one of the toughest and most technical MTB marathons in Spain and a classic of Córdoba's Sierra Morena. The 22nd edition, on Saturday 13 March 2027, offers 105 kilometres with 1,900 metres of elevation gain, five feed stations and a ten-hour time limit for 3,500 participants. Since 2026 it has also had a 65 km Trail event on foot, with 1,200 places and eight feed stations. The 2026 edition drew 4,000 participants, 3,200 of them from outside Córdoba, and according to a study by the University of Córdoba (UCO) it left a direct impact of five million euros. For spectators, the best moments are the start, signalled by a cannon shot at 9 am, and the arrival of the first finishers at around 1:30 pm.
