A free 8 km guided walk (easy) in the Diputación de Córdoba's Conoce tu provincia 2026-2027 campaign, with a coach from the Plaza de Colón. It includes a visit to La Maquinilla.

What it is and what you will see
An inclusive route designed primarily for people with behavioural disorders, along the La Maquinilla stretch of the Camino Natural y Vía Verde del Guadiato y Los Pedroches, between Belmez and Peñarroya-Pueblonuevo. This greenway follows the old railway line that linked the province of Córdoba with that of Badajoz and runs through a Special Protection Area for birds. The route is flat and easy. The day includes a visit to La Maquinilla and has interpretive guides and a specialist in diversity support.
Getting there and registration
The coach leaves from the forecourt of the Diputación car park, in the Plaza de Colón in Córdoba, on Saturday 6 March 2027, bound for Belmez. The approximate timetable is departure at around 8:30 am and return at about 6 pm, to be specified for each route. It is free and includes coach, guides, insurance and leaflet. Registration is individual, through a web form that opens at 8 am on the Monday of that week and closes once 50 places and 30 reserve places are filled; maximum 8 routes per person. Priority goes to people with a disability of more than 33%, who may bring a companion. Information: 957 211 322.
