What it is

Misterio en la orquesta is a family educational concert by the Orquesta de Córdoba included in the Butaca Familiar series. Evaristo turns detective in a musical story full of intrigue: a score stained by a strange liquid appears on the conductor's stand, and that puzzle has to be solved over the course of the concert. Through the investigation, the character and the audience gradually discover how an orchestra works, what the instrument families are, where musical notes come from and who the great composers of the Classical period were: Mozart, Haydn and Beethoven. The narration turns the concert into a participatory experience. It is recommended for pre-school (ages 4 and 5) and the first cycle of Primaria. It is the last of the three family concerts.

Getting there and tickets

The concert is on Sunday 16 May 2027 at 12 noon at the Teatro Góngora, at Calle Jesús y María, 10, in the centre of Córdoba. Tickets have a single price of €8 and are bought through the Orquesta de Córdoba's online box office (orquestadecordoba.janto.es). Until 7 February there is a pass for the series' three family concerts for €19 (single price). It is organised by the Orquesta de Córdoba as part of the programme of Córdoba's municipal theatres.
