What it is

Indómita is the project with which Trinidad Montero, La Trini, celebrates thirty years of her career. She approaches it from a female, contemporary and free perspective, taking traditional Andalusian music, copla, saeta and the deepest folklore as her starting point and projecting it towards the present. It is not a conventional commemorative tribute but a living creation in which tradition is questioned and transformed, centred on the voice of a mature woman in command of her own language. Juan Antonio Sánchez is the musical director and plays the piano; he is joined by Luis Dorado on percussion, Sergio Di Finizio on bass and Juanma Ruiz on double bass. Trinidad Montero herself directs the staging.
