What it is / What you will see

Jazzándaluz is the national jazz festival of Priego de Córdoba and one of the events of Mascarón, the town's festival calendar. Its idea is a jazz that sounds with an Andalusian soul. In 2026 it held its tenth edition: the Isbilya-Jazz Brass opened it with a Dixieland parade through three bars in the centre, followed by Menil Swing with their gypsy jazz, the vibraphonist Arturo Serra with a quintet and the string ensemble of the Orquesta Ciudad de Priego, and the trio of the pianist Daniel García, one of the outstanding groups in European jazz today. There were jam sessions too. The 2025 edition had a line-up made up solely of Andalusian musicians.

Getting there and tickets

The main concerts are at 10.30 pm in the Huerta de las Infantas in Priego de Córdoba, and the opening parade goes round the bars of the centre, such as La Tabernilla and La Campana, from 9.30 pm. Turismo de Priego announced it as free in 2026. It is organised by the Asociación Jazz Priego de Córdoba as part of the Mascarón programme, with the Town Council. The 2027 dates are not yet confirmed; the festival usually falls in the last week of July.
