A runway for young talent
The Pasarela Julio Romero de Torres reaches its second edition, a year after its debut in October 2025. On Thursday 29 October 2026 at 19:00, the Teatro Cómico Principal becomes a catwalk for more than thirty vocational training students from the province, from the Guadalquivir school in Córdoba, Carmen Pantión in Priego de Córdoba and Colonial in Fuente Palmera. IES El Tablero contributes printing, graphic design and personal image work, and Alicia Bravo Escuela de Imagen Personal and the Escuela de Joyería de Córdoba also take part with pieces by their students.
Pedro Pires closes with «Obsidian»
The finale comes from designer Pedro Pires with «Obsidian», a collection that steps away from the bridal fashion he is known for to offer party and evening looks inspired by obsidian, with nods to 1980s haute couture and Eastern aesthetics. The show is supported by the Junta de Andalucía, Córdoba City Council and the Fundación Kutxabank, and coordinated by Raquel Sánchez Nieto.
Exhibitions after the show
The event continues outside the theatre from 6 to 16 November with exhibitions by Córdoba designers at several spots around the city: José Perea and Florencio Rojas at the Biblioteca Pública Grupo Cántico, Florencio Rojas at the H10 Colomera hotel and José Rojas at the Palacio de Viana and the Eurostars Palace hotel. The admission price for the show has not been published; it is worth checking with the theatre.
