For three days Almodóvar del Río brings together electric vehicles from different makes and activities at La Breña: electric bike rides, a solar boat trip and multi-adventure activities, plus two exhibitions.

What it is
Almodóvar del Río holds the fifth edition of its Encuentro para la Difusión y Promoción del Vehículo Eléctrico, a gathering to promote electric vehicles that combines a display of models from different makes with leisure activities around La Breña. The programme includes electric bike rides, a solar boat trip and multi-adventure activities, designed to link electric mobility with enjoying the landscape. There will also be two exhibitions: "50 años con la cámara colgá" and "Almodóvar del Río y el linaje Corral". The Asociación de Usuarios de Vehículo Eléctrico (AUVE) and the Ateneo Popular de Almodóvar del Río take part, and the Provincial Council supports the event through its Agencia Provincial de la Energía.
Getting there
The event is held from Friday 23 to Sunday 25 October 2026 in Almodóvar del Río, with activities at La Breña, the town's reservoir. Almodóvar is about 25 kilometres from Córdoba on the A-431. The town already has several charging points for electric vehicles. The sources have not yet published the times of each activity or whether any of them has a charge or needs booking. It is worth checking with Almodóvar del Río Town Council before you go.
