What it is
The Teatro Garnelo hosts a concert for piano and violin with live vocals devoted to ‘El Fantasma de la Ópera’ (The Phantom of the Opera). Through beautiful, intricate songs, the performers tell the story of the mysterious man with a disfigured face who haunts the darkest corners of the Paris Opera and falls in love with a young soprano, Christine Daaé. To win her heart and turn her into a great star, the Phantom will stop at nothing to carry out his darkest designs. It is an intimate way of reliving the plot and the music of one of the best-known musicals, in a Sunday evening session in Montilla.
Getting there and tickets
The concert is on Sunday 8 November 2026 at 6:30 pm at the Teatro Garnelo, Plaza de la Rosa, s/n, in Montilla. Tickets cost from €18 on Giglon, booking fees not included. Anyone over 12 months old needs their own ticket to enter the venue. It is performed in Peñarroya-Pueblonuevo the night before.
