Averroes on screen
El comentador is a short film produced by the University of Córdoba as part of the events with which the city remembers Averroes, the Córdoba philosopher known in Europe precisely as the Commentator for his readings of Aristotle. The Filmoteca de Andalucía screens it at its Córdoba venue in a session open to everyone, designed for anyone wishing to approach the thinker through cinema.
When and where
The screening is on Tuesday 3 November 2026 at 18:00 at the Filmoteca de Andalucía, calle Medina y Corella, 5, in the Judería. Entry is free, so just turn up at the cinema before the start. As it is a short film, the session is brief and fits nicely with a stroll around the historic centre.
