The film
“Remando al viento” is Gonzalo Suárez’s film about the circle of English Romantic poets. Mary Shelley recalls how she met the young Percy Shelley at her father’s house, how she fell in love with him and ran away with him, and the encounter with Lord Byron in Switzerland. Above all, she relives the night of 1816 when, while her friends told ghost stories, she imagined the Frankenstein monster. The Filmoteca includes it in its tribute to the director and screens it in a dubbed version.
Screening and tickets
It will be shown on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, at 18:00 at the Filmoteca de Andalucía, located at calle Medina y Corella 5 in Córdoba. It runs 88 minutes. Tickets cost 0.90 € at the Filmoteca box office. That same evening, at 20:30, the venue screens “Juan de los Muertos.” Both can be seen on the same evening.
