What it is
Carcabuey once again hosts Andalusian duathlon with the fourth edition of the Duatlón Cros Villa de Carcabuey, a race that alternates running and mountain biking through the countryside around the village, in the heart of the Subbética. The event is part of two official competitions: the Copa de Andalucía de Duatlón Cros 2026 and the Diputación de Córdoba's Circuito Provincial de Duatlón y Triatlón, which puts Carcabuey on the regional and provincial calendar for the discipline. Getting there and entries
The start is on Sunday 11 October 2026 at 10:30 in Carcabuey. Entries are made on the Federación Andaluza de Triatlón platform and stay open until Monday 5 October at 23:59. The fee is 15 euros for federated athletes and 27 euros for non-federated ones. Anyone not competing can come along to watch the race and use the visit to get to know the village and the hills around it.
