About the event
From 17 November to 20 December 2026, the Museo Arqueológico de Córdoba brings together pieces of its own and from the Museo de Bellas Artes in «Dobles miradas. Anillos» (Double views. Rings). An anonymous portrait, which appears to be a copy of a portrait of a gentleman attributed to Hans Memling, is shown alongside a selection of rings from different eras.

Two museums, one small piece
The anonymous painting shows a man with long curly hair and a cloth cap holding a ring. It appears to be a copy of the Portrait of a Gentleman attributed to Hans Memling held by the Royal Museums in Brussels. Beside it, rings of different eras and designs recall their role as a symbol of identity and status.
