Throughout October, the Córdoba towns in the Red Europea de Celebraciones de Semana Santa y Pascua take the tradition of their cofradías, the Holy Week brotherhoods, outside Lent. There are open museums, guided routes, workshops, concerts and conferences in Baena, Cabra, Lucena, Priego de Córdoba and Puente Genil.

What you will see
The Días de la Red Europea were created to showcase the tangible and intangible heritage of Semana Santa outside its season. Five towns in the province of Córdoba take part. Baena opens the Museo de la Semana Santa in the Casa de la Condesa every afternoon and on 10 October takes its drumming out into the street from 12:00. Cabra offers “La Pasión en Cabra”, with a tasting of Montilla-Moriles wine. Priego has routes through the Córdoba Baroque and a candle and ceramics workshop at Quisquillosa Estudio. Lucena programmes the concert “Lucena en Cuerda y Alma”, the campanilleros of the Aurora, a workshop on the drum and the torralbo, and routes around hermitages. Puente Genil offers the “Siente la Mananta” visits and an academic conference.
Getting there and tickets
The programme runs from 1 to 31 October 2026 and each activity has its own venue, time and booking. In Baena the museum is at calle Mesones, 37, and opens Monday to Friday from 17:00 to 19:00, free. The paid routes cost around €7 in Puente Genil and €18-20 in Priego, and the Priego workshop costs €35. Many of the activities in Lucena are free, with prior registration.
