The film
“A Tale of Springtime” opens Éric Rohmer's Tales of the Four Seasons. A young philosophy teacher accepts a friend's invitation to spend a weekend in the country, where the friend has also brought her father and his young girlfriend. Circumstances leave the teacher and the father alone together, and the friend starts pulling the strings. Made in 1990, it runs 102 minutes and is shown in its original version with subtitles.
Film Club
The Filmoteca's Film Club alternates new releases and classics, and every session ends with an audience discussion. This one is chosen and introduced by Santiago Gallego.
