A free 6.5 km guided walk (low difficulty) in the Diputación de Córdoba's Conoce tu provincia 2026-2027 campaign, with a coach from the Plaza de Colón. It includes a visit to Casa Cardona, a Modernista mansion.

What it is and what you will see
An inclusive route, designed primarily for people with intellectual disabilities, through the hamlets of Fuente Obejuna, a municipality of more than 591 km² with fourteen settlements. The route links La Cardenchosa with Alcornocal along country tracks through Mediterranean woodland of holm oaks, cork oaks and Portuguese oaks, with hedgerows between plots and the riverside woodland of the Conventillo stream. It is a good opportunity to understand how the mosaic landscape of pasture, olive groves and dehesa has shaped the biodiversity of the Guadiato. The day ends with a visit to the Casa Cardona, a Modernista mansion in Fuente Obejuna.
Getting there and registration
The coach leaves from the forecourt of the Diputación car park, in the Plaza de Colón in Córdoba, on Sunday 31 January 2027, bound for Fuente Obejuna. The approximate timetable is departure at around 8:30 am and return at about 6 pm, to be specified for each route. It is free and includes coach, guides, insurance and leaflet. Registration is individual, through a web form that opens at 8 am on the Monday of that week and closes once 50 places and 30 reserve places are filled; maximum 8 routes per person. Priority goes to people with a disability of more than 33%, who may bring a companion. Information: 957 211 322.
