What it is
"Compatibles" imagines a near future in which organ allocation has become a timed procedure. Two parents are summoned to a white room to decide, in barely thirty minutes, who will receive their son's heart. The protocol is inflexible, technology keeps watch and humanity is reduced to forms, percentages and silences. Before them are two lives that are incompatible but equally urgent: a young man who still imagines a tomorrow and a man who holds up the present of two children. The couple discover that the choice is not only medical but moral, political and personal. It is performed by the Escuela Municipal de Teatro Duque de Rivas.
Getting there and tickets
The performance is on Thursday 22 October 2026 at 20:30 at the Teatro Palacio Erisana, Plaza Nueva, 18, in Lucena, and lasts about 85 minutes. Admission is free by invitation, which can be collected at the Culture Department or through the Giglon website. It is organised by Lucena Town Council as part of its autumn programme.
