What you will see
Alejandro Astola is a key name in Seville's music of recent decades: founder of Fondo Flamenco and writer of some of its best-known songs, he began writing at the age of 12 and has been composing for almost 25 years. Between Fondo Flamenco and the duo Astola y Ratón he has released 13 albums, as well as numerous unreleased projects. Now he sets out on a new solo path with his own label, and brings it to Sala Impala in Córdoba. It is a date for those who grew up with the rumba and flamenco-tinged pop of Fondo Flamenco and want to hear its songwriter in a more intimate format.
Getting there and tickets
The concert is on Saturday 3 April 2027 at 9 pm at Sala Impala, at Avenida de Chinales, 64 (14007 Córdoba), on the Chinales industrial estate. Tickets cost €20 and advance sales are on Vivaticket, as part of the ‘Mi guitarra y yo 2.0’ tour. His music moves between mestizaje and fusion, in the vein of the rumba and flamenco-tinged pop that made him known with Fondo Flamenco.
