A velá postponed to November 1
The fourth Velá de las Flores was scheduled for the weekend of October 18, but Córdoba City Council moved it to Sunday, November 1, 2026, due to the forecast of rain. It is one of the activities of the Youth Department and takes place around the Quiosco de la Trucha, on Paseo de la Victoria. It combines a market, music, and a small ceremony with the proclamation of the Flower Queen.
What to expect
According to the announced program, the young art market is open from 11:00 to 22:00 next to the music kiosk on Paseo de la Victoria. In the afternoon, from 18:00 to 19:00, a brass band parades from Las Tendillas square to the Quiosco de la Trucha. At 19:00 comes the Flower Queen coronation and at 19:30 the musical show El Quiosco Azul, featuring La Lola, Isabel Aguirre (Madame Dolor), Beli Molina, Zilah and Charlotte Valgren, with Pilar Osado on piano.
How to get there
Paseo de la Victoria, next to the Jardines de la Victoria, is just a step from the city center. All activities are free and outdoors, making it a great plan for a stroll on the last day of the long weekend. The times are those of the original program and may be adjusted after the date change.
