What it is / What you will see
The San Silvestre de Priego de Córdoba was first held in 2006 and since 2012 it has been a fun run, far removed from competition, where togetherness and the most original costumes come first. It takes place every 31 December at the Paseíllo, which fills with runners of all ages that afternoon. It also has a strong charitable side: in 2025, its nineteenth edition, everything raised from entries went towards buying an adapted bicycle for people with disabilities through the Albasur association. 2026 would be the twentieth edition, although the organisers have not yet announced the cause or the rules.
Getting there and tickets
The start and finish are at the Paseíllo, in the centre of Priego de Córdoba. In 2025 the race began at 4:30 pm and registration took place at the shop 4U, with personalised race numbers. It is organised by the Umax Trail club with volunteers, the Local Police and Civil Protection. For 2026 the time, price and place of registration have not yet been published, so the details of the previous edition are a guide only.
