What it is / What you will see
The Rally Sierra Morena is Córdoba's great motorsport event and, since 2025, a round of the European Rally Championship (FIA ERC). In May 2026 the Automóvil Club de Córdoba renewed its agreement with the championship promoter until 2030, so the 44th edition is already being prepared for 2027. The 2026 rally was the most international in its history: 62 crews, 80% foreign drivers, seven special stages and more than 200 kilometres against the clock. Names such as Teemu Suninen, the European champion Miko Marczyk and José Antonio ‘Cohete’ Suárez, who won the event, came to Córdoba. It is also the only Andalusian round of the Supercampeonato de España de Rallyes.
Getting there and tickets
The 2027 date is not yet official. Recent editions have been run in spring and the 2026 one was from Thursday 16 to Sunday 19 April, with the start ramp in the Plaza de las Tendillas and stages through Córdoba's Sierra Morena. The organisers expect a large turnout of spectators both at the start ceremony and on the special stages. The event is organised by the Automóvil Club de Córdoba, chaired by Manuel Muñoz. We will update this page when the 2027 European calendar is confirmed.
