What you will hear
The last subscription programme of the 2026/27 season closes the series with two deeply lyrical works. First comes Antonín Dvořák's Violin Concerto in A minor, Op. 53, which the Orquesta de Córdoba plays for the first time, with Noah Bendix as soloist. Then Igor Stravinsky's The Firebird in its 1945 version, the score that made a twenty-eight-year-old composer famous overnight: a tale in which the spell is broken and everything comes back to life. Salvador Vázquez, principal conductor and artistic director, conducts two performances, on Thursday and Friday.
Getting there and tickets
The concert is at the Gran Teatro de Córdoba at 8 pm, with a second performance on Friday 18 June at the same time, as part of the Orquesta de Córdoba's subscription series.
