Morenín gives the song recital of the Circuito Andaluz de Peñas 2026 at the Peña Flamenca Calpurniana in Cañete de las Torres, with the guitar of Antonio Contiñez. Manuel García Moreno, Morenín, was born in 1951 in the Córdoba neighbourhood of Campo de la Verdad, where he founded the neighbourhood's flamenco peña. He is an orthodox singer, far removed from the commercial, with prizes such as the Melón de Oro in Montalbán, the prize for cantes por caña in La Unión and the one for mineras in Peñarroya-Pueblonuevo. The circuit, organised by the Instituto Andaluz del Flamenco with the Federación Provincial de Peñas Flamencas de Córdoba, spreads some thirty recitals of song, dance and guitar across peñas in 28 Córdoba towns and villages from 6 to 28 November, and this year it is dedicated to Antonio González del Moral.

The recital is on Friday 6 November 2026 at 21:00 at the Peña Flamenca Calpurniana, at Pasaje Pérez Zurita 2, Cañete de las Torres. Entry is free while space lasts, with no advance sales, so it is worth arriving in good time. It is organised by the Agencia Andaluza de Instituciones Culturales, through the Instituto Andaluz del Flamenco, and the Federación Provincial de Peñas Flamencas de Córdoba.
