What it is
The Mercado Mozárabe de Peñarroya-Pueblonuevo emerged as one of the initiatives to raise the profile of the Camino Mozárabe to Santiago on its stretch through the Guadiato valley, and it has become a fixture of the All Saints' long weekend. In 2026 it is held from 30 October to 2 November, once again run by Lancelot Medieval, a company with years of experience in themed markets. The market has grown edition after edition: from the 24 stalls of 2024 it went to 41 in 2025. Crafts, food products and period atmosphere turn the centre of the town into an autumn souk for strolling round as a family.
Getting there and tickets
The market is set up in Peñarroya-Pueblonuevo, in the north of the province, from Friday 30 October to Monday 2 November 2026. It is a street market with free entry. The exact location and opening hours of this edition will be announced by the Town Council on its municipal website; in previous editions it was set up in the Plaza de Santa Bárbara. It is organised by Lancelot Medieval and Peñarroya-Pueblonuevo Town Council.
