What it is

La orquesta escondida is a family educational concert by the Orquesta de Córdoba in the Teatro Góngora's Butaca Familiar series. It is presented as a vibrant and moving show that, with classical music as the common thread, immerses the spectator in the everyday world of a symphony orchestra: how it works, how it sounds and what happens on stage. The audience does not just listen but can also take part. The presenters are the Dúo Vibra-tó, made up of Joaquín Sánchez and Miguel Guinea, who lead the session alongside the musicians of the Orquesta de Córdoba. The recommended school levels are the second and third cycles of primary education. It is the first of the season's three family concerts at this theatre.

Getting there and tickets

The concert is on Sunday 7 February 2027 at 12 noon at the Teatro Góngora, Calle Jesús y María, 10, in the centre of Córdoba. Tickets have a single price of €8 and are sold through the Orquesta de Córdoba's online box office (orquestadecordoba.janto.es). Until 7 February there is also a pass for the series' three family concerts for €19 (single price), which also includes La música también se cuenta and Misterio en la orquesta. It is organised by the Orquesta de Córdoba as part of the municipal theatres' programme.
