Hans Zimmer's soundtracks by candlelight
The Candlelight series returns to the Córdoba Conference Center on Friday, January 29, 2027, with a program dedicated to Hans Zimmer, one of the most renowned film composers. The concert begins at 8:30 p.m., lasts about 60 minutes, and takes place in a candlelit room. This is an unofficial tribute: it is not affiliated or endorsed by the composer or his representatives.
The program
The Qurtuba Quartet, a string quartet, performs Time (Inception), This Land (The Lion King), Zoosters Breakout (Madagascar), Supermarine (Dunkirk), A Dark Knight (The Dark Knight), Cornfield Chase (Interstellar), and Discombobulate (Sherlock Holmes), along with selections from Wonder Woman, Gladiator, Dune, and Pirates of the Caribbean. These are arrangements for quartet based on scores originally written for full orchestra.
Tickets and access
There are three zones: C from €22, B from €27.50, and A from €38.50. Within each zone, seats are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Doors open 45 minutes before the concert, and entry is not allowed once it has started. The minimum age is 8 years, and minors under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. The Córdoba Conference Center is located at Torrijos 10, next to the Mosque-Cathedral.
