What it is
La música también se cuenta is a family educational concert in the Butaca Familiar series, from an original idea by Joaquín Haro, principal clarinet of the Orquesta de Córdoba. It is an educational and musical initiative in collaboration with Córdoba City Council's Department of Education and Childhood, which invites the audience to create an original musical story through active listening to two works from the repertoire for clarinet and orchestra. The project encourages literary creativity, artistic sensitivity and narrative thinking, and turns classical music into an engine of imagination and learning. The recommended school levels are the third cycle of primary education and the first cycle of ESO. It is the second of the season's three family concerts.
Getting there and tickets
The concert is on Sunday 2 May 2027 at 12 noon at the Teatro Góngora, Calle Jesús y María, 10, in the centre of Córdoba. Tickets have a single price of €8 and are sold through the Orquesta de Córdoba's online box office (orquestadecordoba.janto.es). Until 7 February you can buy a pass for the series' three family concerts for €19. It is organised by the Orquesta de Córdoba in collaboration with the City Council's Department of Education and Childhood.
