The film
In “Hogar dulce hogar,” by Polish director Wojciech Smarzowski, an internet romance leads Goska to Grzesiek, who seems like the perfect man, complete with flowers and a proposal in Venice. But the house they start sharing becomes increasingly dangerous for her, and the love story turns dark. It is a 2025 film shown in the original version with Spanish subtitles.
Cinepolska series
The screening is part of Cinepolska, the series organized by the Filmoteca together with the Polish Institute of Culture in Madrid, the Polish Film Institute, and the production company Mañana to showcase current Polish directors. Before the film, the new short by the Quay Brothers is shown, made in tribute to Krzysztof Kieślowski on the 30th anniversary of his death.
