Excitement is the emotional education gathering that Dos Torres hosts every autumn with Corazón Educativo, the educational community of Los Pedroches. The idea is simple: spend a Saturday at San Isidro peri-urban park, on the outskirts of town, learning to understand and manage emotions as a family. It’s aimed at children, teenagers, and their parents, as well as teachers and anyone interested in education. This year's motto sums it up: more empathetic people, stronger families, happier communities.
What’s happening on October 17
The 2026 edition is led by Alma Serra, psychologist and emotional education communicator, combining a conference with a hands-on workshop, emotional games for the whole family, a relaxation session, and a social meal to end the day together. Last year’s event ran from 10:00 to 17:00; this year’s schedule and registration details are published by the Town Hall at dostorres.es and on their social media. Collaborators include La Nao Grupo and the Provincial Institute of Social Welfare of Córdoba Province.
How to get there
San Isidro peri-urban park is next to the urban center of Dos Torres, in the heart of Los Pedroches, about 75 kilometers from Córdoba via N-502 and A-3177. It’s a woodland area with tables, shade, and space for games, so it’s advisable to wear comfortable clothing and bring something to sit on. The sign does not specify the price.
