What it is / What you will see
El Califa gives the singing recital of the Circuito Andaluz de Peñas 2026 at the Peña Flamenca Egabrense Cayetano Muriel ‘Niño de Córdoba’ in Cabra, with guitarist Antonio Migueles. El Califa has a long career in traditional flamenco singing and is known for a restrained, orthodox style, with good diction and command of the fundamental forms. For this circuit he brings a classic recital designed for the club format. The circuit, organised by the Instituto Andaluz del Flamenco with the Federación Provincial de Peñas Flamencas de Córdoba, spreads some thirty recitals of singing, dance and guitar across flamenco clubs in 28 towns of Córdoba province from 6 to 28 November, and this year is dedicated to Antonio González del Moral.
Getting there and tickets
The recital is on Saturday 14 November 2026 at 2 pm at the Peña Flamenca Egabrense Cayetano Muriel ‘Niño de Córdoba’, on Calle Rafael Leña Caballero, Cabra. It is a midday event, a very typical time for a flamenco club. Entry is free until capacity is reached, with no advance sales, so it is worth arriving in good time. It is organised by the Agencia Andaluza de Instituciones Culturales, through the Instituto Andaluz del Flamenco, and the Federación Provincial de Peñas Flamencas de Córdoba. The programme is subject to change: before you go, it is worth checking the listing in the Agenda Cultural de Andalucía.
