What it is
Edelmiro II y el dragón Gutiérrez is a show by Teatro Arbolé for family audiences. It takes place in Tri, a country so small that it does not even have a king or anyone in charge. Edelmiro the Second will get the job, but first he has to rid the country of the fearsome dragon Gutiérrez. After receiving several candidates, each more outlandish than the last, it falls to him to face the beast himself, well armed and equipped though scared stiff. When he finally meets the dragon he discovers that it is not what it seems: among other things, it loves to sing, though it does so terribly, and it makes the best lemonade in the world. The show lasts an hour and is performed on a Sunday at midday.
