A free 10 km guided walk (easy) in the Diputación de Córdoba's Conoce tu provincia 2026-2027 campaign, with a coach from the Plaza de Colón. It includes a visit to the Castillo Alcazaba.

What it is and what you will see
A circular route through the Alto Guadalquivir that reveals the network of wells and springs in the countryside around Bujalance. It sets out along the Camino de Porcuna and the Camino de la Fuenblanquilla, where you see the spring and well of the same name and remains of an old Roman road, and continues past the Santa Quiteria or Los Juncos well and the Matarredonda well. It crosses the former municipality of Belmonte, annexed to Bujalance in the 18th century, and returns along the Camino de Fuente Agria and the wells of Cañada de Andrés, Palomuerto and Tarifa. The Diputación's day out ends with a visit to Bujalance's castle, the Castillo Alcazaba.
Getting there and registration
The coach leaves from the forecourt of the Diputación car park, in the Plaza de Colón in Córdoba, on Sunday 25 April 2027, bound for Bujalance. The approximate timetable is departure at around 8:30 am and return at about 6 pm, to be specified for each route. It is free and includes coach, guides, insurance and leaflet. Registration is individual, through a web form that opens at 8 am on the Monday of that week and closes once 50 places and 30 reserve places are filled; maximum 8 routes per person.
