A Mystery in the Mining Peñarroya
The Casa de la Juventud of Peñarroya-Pueblonuevo offers a live Cluedo with a local flavor for Halloween afternoon. The story is set in 1927, when the Sociedad Minera y Metalúrgica de Peñarroya was at its peak: during a gala dinner at the French director's mansion, the lights go out, the host is found unconscious, and the mine ownership titles disappear. The gates of the estate close and the culprit is among the guests.
How to Play
Upon arrival, each participant receives an envelope with their secret identity: industrial enclosure worker, French aristocrat, British investor, and other characters. You have to get into character, negotiate with the information you have (lying is allowed), and search for clues hidden throughout the rooms, which are handed to the monitor acting as inspector. The faction that solves the case at the final trial wins, but also the one who completes the most personal objectives. It takes place on Saturday, October 31, 2026, from 18:00 to 20:30, at the Casa de la Juventud. It is aimed at young people aged 14 to 30 and places are limited, first come, first served, at the Casa de la Juventud or by phone at 672 368 996.
