What it is

The Circuito Andaluz de Peñas comes to the province of Córdoba from 6 to 28 November with 30 performances, 26 of song, one of dance and three of guitar, spread across flamenco peñas in 28 towns and villages, from Adamuz to Villaharta. This edition pays tribute to Antonio González del Moral. The singer Morenín opens at the Peña Calpurniana in Cañete de las Torres, and the line-up includes El Calabrés at El Rincón Flamenco in Córdoba, Juan Pinilla at El Lucero in Montilla, El Jaro in Priego, El Polaco at the Peña Flamenca de Córdoba, the dancer Lorena Doblas in Pozoblanco, Gema Jiménez at the Peña Fosforito and Chaparro de Málaga in Albendín, among others. There is also a gala at the Cátedra de Flamencología on 21 November.

Getting there and tickets

Each recital is held at a peña's own premises, with times that vary between midday, at around 13:00 or 14:00, and the evening, between 21:00 and 22:00; the full programme, subject to change, is on the official event page. Entry to all the performances is free while space lasts, so it is worth arriving in good time. It is organised by the Agencia Andaluza de Instituciones Culturales, through the Instituto Andaluz del Flamenco, and the Federación Provincial de Peñas Flamencas de Córdoba.
