About the event
The association Astuce Spain and the GEINO Group organise the third «El cerebro no es gris» (The brain is not grey) Charity Run and Walk on Sunday 22 November 2026 at 10 am, starting and finishing at the Torre de la Calahorra. There are two 5-kilometre options, run and walk, and children's races for ages 4 to 12. The money raised supports research into rare brain tumours.

Running for research
«El cerebro no es gris» began three years ago in Córdoba to raise awareness of tumours of the brain and central nervous system and to fund research, such as the Oligospain project at the Reina Sofía hospital and the Imibic. This third edition aims to exceed 3,000 participants.
Route
The event starts at 10 am from the Torre de la Calahorra, which is also the finish. It can be done running or walking, over 5 kilometres, and children aged 4 to 12 have their own races.
