What it is
The Asociación Amigos de Ategua, with the support of the Delegación de Cultura of the Diputación de Córdoba, is organising a new edition of “Atardeceres de Ategua”. It is a musical sunset in the setting of the late-medieval market wall of this archaeological site, listed as a Bien de Interés Cultural and occupied from the Copper Age to the Middle Ages. The stars are the Orquesta de Plectro de Córdoba, who will celebrate the Año Falla, on the 150th anniversary of the composer's birth and the 80th of his death, with a repertoire based on his work and on contemporary music that shaped his era. It is part of the association's annual series of astronomy and music, which also offers guided tours in November and December.
Getting there and tickets
The event is on Saturday 17 October 2026 at the Enclave Arqueológico de Ategua, around six kilometres from the Córdoba village of Santa Cruz. The Diputación's announcement gives neither the exact time nor how admission works; for previous activities the Asociación Amigos de Ategua has allocated places by registration on its website, ategua.es, which is the place to check times, conditions and any buses before you go.
