The Anastasia enigma
Some names carry a whole story with them, and Anastasia's also carries a mystery that still raises questions more than a century later. «ANIA. La verdadera historia de Anastasia», by Loklaro Producciones, moves along that line between history and legend to talk about identity, memories and the search for answers, following a young woman whose past is full of question marks.
The production
The play is directed by Carlos Aceituno and plays with appearances: nothing is what it seems and finding out who you are can be far more complicated than expected. It is an evening of theatre with mystery and emotion, suitable for a broad audience and with a subject that appeals both to those who know the story of the Romanovs and to those who only remember the film.
Cosecha Cultural in the province
The show is part of Cosecha Cultural 2026, the music and performing arts series with which the Diputación de Córdoba takes theatre, puppets, flamenco and concerts to the towns of the province, in collaboration with each town council. In Baena it takes place at the Teatro Liceo. The Diputación has not published the price or ticketing system in its listings, so it is worth asking at the Town Council or the venue itself a few days before, as capacity is limited.
