About the event
The Seville company Malaje Solo performs «Tuyo Cid» on Saturday 28 November 2026 at 8 pm at the Salón de Usos Múltiples in Iznájar, as part of the Otoño Cultural (autumn cultural season). The play pays tribute to the minstrels and brings the Poema de Mío Cid (Poem of the Cid) to today's audiences with humour, while keeping to its plot. For all ages. Free entry.

Today's minstrels
Malaje Solo takes the figure of the minstrel, the comic performer who went from square to square recounting great deeds, to make a funny revision of the Poema de Mío Cid. It keeps the plot and adapts it to today's language.
