What it is
Suerte de manicomio is a stand-up show that its author, Guelmi, describes as wild, direct and unmedicated, in which everyday madness becomes pure comedy. The comedian lays himself bare on stage to show that, in reality, nobody is entirely fine and some people just hide it better. With acerbic, provocative and very personal humour, he goes through obsessive thoughts, insecurities, absurd impulses and extreme situations that everyone experiences but few admit to, on a rollercoaster of awkward laughs and liberating guffaws. He himself frames it as a collective therapy session with no couch, no psychiatrist and no prescription. The show on 21 November sold out and this is the next date.
Getting there and tickets
The show is on Sunday 31 January 2027 at 6 pm at the Teatro Avanti, on Calle María Auxiliadora (14002 Córdoba). It is a show for adult audiences. Tickets cost €18 in advance at the box office and €20 on the day of the show.
