What it is / What you'll see
Recuerdos olvidados is a dance piece created and performed by María Moguer and Raúl Durán, who are also responsible for the direction and choreography. The duo dance searching, meeting, seduction, rejection and retreat as a rhythmic narrative of the need we have for other people, a need that always runs into obstacles of our own and of others' making. The work explores the emotional impulse of desire, sometimes erotic and destructive, and starts from the memories that remain etched in the body's physical and emotional memory, to rescue them from oblivion. Premiered in 2020, the work has versions of between 20 and 30 minutes and this year has visited Lebrija, Punta Umbría, Mojácar, Lepe and Motril before reaching the Subbética.
