What it is
A woman wakes up on a hospital trolley after an operation and discovers that, as a result of the procedure, she has entered a premature menopause she was not expecting. Her life has changed: she feels ignored and alone. In "No estoy de frente", MariPaz Sayago looks for complicity from an audience that will have no choice but to accompany her on her journey towards maturity. Searching desperately for herself, she looks back over her life, takes up the baton from the women who came before her and decides to restart her present. It is a one-hour show that mixes humour and reflection on a stage of life that is still little talked about on stage.

The performance is on Friday 6 November 2026 at 20:00 at the Teatro Coliseo in Palma del Río, on Avenida Pío XII. Tickets cost 5 euros. It is organised by the Agencia Andaluza de Instituciones Culturales and Palma del Río Town Council as part of the Red Andaluza de Teatros Públicos.
