In “Lope exprés”, two actresses with few resources and plenty of ingenuity attempt one last death-defying leap to save their company: challenging the audience by staging 400 comedies by Lope de Vega! It is an irreverent musical show by the Lamaraña Teatro company that pulses with the beauty of Lope's verse and pays tribute to the small companies that hang on in the trade. It is a breakneck acting journey in which the actresses play multiple characters and sing legendary songs the audience will recognise. It lasts around 75 minutes and is part of the XXIX Semana del Teatro Ciudad de Lucena.

The performance is on Friday 16 October 2026 at 21:00 at the Teatro Palacio Erisana, Plaza Nueva, 18, in Lucena. Tickets cost €5, with no discounts, unreserved seating and included in the Semana del Teatro season ticket, but the Giglon listing says they have sold out. It is organised by Lucena Town Council.
