About the event
Pozoblanco hosts the fifth edition of the Guadamora International Chamber Music Competition, organised by the Fundación Ricardo Delgado Vizcaíno. The opening ceremony is on Friday 6 November 2026 at 19:00 at the Conservatorio Marcos Redondo, the semi-finals on Saturday 7 from 10:00 to 14:00 at the same conservatory, and the grand final on Sunday 8 at 10:30 at the Teatro El Silo.

Chamber music in Los Pedroches
The Guadamora International Chamber Music Competition reaches its fifth edition in Pozoblanco, run by the Fundación Ricardo Delgado Vizcaíno. The groups selected from their recordings travel to the town to compete live over a weekend, and audiences can follow every round in person.
Competition programme
The opening ceremony takes place on Friday 6 November 2026 at 19:00 at the Conservatorio Profesional de Música Marcos Redondo. The semi-finals are held in the same venue on Saturday 7, from 10:00 to 14:00. The grand final, with a maximum of five groups, moves to the Teatro El Silo on Sunday 8 at 10:30.

The competition rules state that the live rounds are public. The organiser does not publish an admission price for spectators, so it is worth checking the foundation's website before you go.
