Jazz at the ASAENEC gala

The last Cultura en red concert of October, the program through which the Córdoba City Council brings free music and theater to the districts, joins the ASAENEC Córdoba Mental Health Awards ceremony. The music is by Giant Steps, a group that revisits jazz classics almost everyone has heard at some point, with a fresh approach designed for all audiences.

Who plays

Giant Steps consists of Auxi Belmonte on vocals, Daniel Morales “Mawe” on percussion, Jaime Carrasco on double bass, and Juanma González on saxophone. It is a small, club-style formation where the vocals and saxophone carry the melody over a base of double bass and percussion. With this lineup, the repertoire ranges from the most recognizable standards to freer versions, allowing each musician their moment.

When and how to enter

The event is on Thursday, October 29, 2026, at 7:30 pm at the Conservatorio Músico Ziryab, in the Centro district. Entry is free until full capacity and doors open half an hour earlier, at 7:00 pm, so it is advisable to arrive early. Since the concert accompanies an awards ceremony, the venue may fill up earlier than usual.
