Two artists who will not leave the stage
Manuel and Concha know the sound of applause well: flamenco has been their life and their trade. But what happens when the stages start to forget those who filled them with art? «Fetén», by Un Proyecto Corriente and Juan Luis Corrientes, travels to 1950s Seville, when flamenco was starting to become a profession, to tell the story of two veterans who refuse to give up who they are.
Masks, song and guitar
On stage, Juan Luis Corrientes and Beatriz Prior play the couple wearing theatre masks, accompanied by Julio Castell's flamenco guitar. Song, dance and theatre blend to talk about old age, memory and the dignity of those who have devoted their lives to art, with humour and tenderness. The message is clear: talent has no expiry date.
Cosecha Cultural in the province
The show is part of Cosecha Cultural 2026, the music and performing arts series with which the Diputación de Córdoba takes theatre, puppets, flamenco and concerts to the towns of the province, in collaboration with each town council. In La Rambla it takes place at the Casa de la Cultura. The Diputación has not published the price or ticketing system in its listings, so it is worth asking at the Town Council or the venue itself a few days before, as capacity is limited.
