What it is
El bosque de Coco is a production by La Buena Compañía that tackles a very topical subject: children's mental health, which is key to the development and wellbeing of children and young people. Drawing on psychology, the show starts from the emotional experience of a child living through a difficult situation at home that they neither understand nor can control, and who goes through emotions such as denial, anger, sadness and acceptance, as if it were a bereavement. From that vulnerable state, Coco ventures into an unknown forest to confront what overwhelms her, in an allegorical tale. On stage are Mari Rodríguez, Ángela Bodega, Mario Olavé and Laura Bermúdez. It is part of the Butaca Familiar series and is recommended for the second and third cycles of Primaria.
