A Mexican celebration in the heart of Córdoba

The Citizen Participation Delegation of the Córdoba City Council once again celebrates Day of the Dead, the Mexican festival honoring the deceased, with an open day at Moreal Square. It’s a full-day plan to enjoy with family or friends, with activities running from noon until the evening of Sunday, November 1, All Saints’ Day holiday.

Program

From 12:00 to 22:00 there will be workshops, live music and dance performances, as well as a costume contest, piñatas and a photo booth for pictures. The highlight comes at 20:00, when an altar is set up with a procession of offerings accompanied by a mariachi performance, just like in traditional Mexican celebrations. Dressing up as catrina or catrín fits perfectly with the atmosphere.
