About the event
Following the Misión Andalucía exhibition at the Centro Andaluz de la Fotografía, the Filmoteca de Andalucía presents in Córdoba a film series where the Andalusian landscape plays a key role in the storytelling. It includes Iván & Hadoum, by Ian de la Rosa (October 29), and Parking, by Tudor Giurgiu (November 12), both at 18:00. Each session costs €0.90.

From Photographic Paper to the Screen
The Misión Andalucía exhibition, organized by the Centro Andaluz de la Fotografía, resonates at the Filmoteca de Andalucía, which is programming in Córdoba a film series where the Andalusian landscape holds substantial weight in the narrative. The exhibition itself can be seen at the Teatro Cómico Principal de Córdoba until mid-November, so the series and the exhibition can be enjoyed during the same weeks.
The Films
On Thursday, October 29 at 18:00, Iván & Hadoum (2026), by Ian de la Rosa, will be screened in the original Spanish version. On Thursday, November 12, also at 18:00, comes Parking (2019), by Romanian director Tudor Giurgiu: the story of Adrian, a Romanian poet who arrives in Spain without papers in 2002, starts working as a night watchman in a local’s business, and sees his life change when he meets María, a guitarist in a jazz band.

Each session costs €0.90 and takes place at the Filmoteca de Andalucía headquarters on calle Medina y Corella 5, next to the Mezquita-Catedral.
