About the event
The Vista Alegre Municipal Sports Palace hosts the Andalusia Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships along with the XXIX National City of Córdoba Tournament «Lourdes Mohedano» from November 6 to 8, 2026. Friday is for training only; the competition takes place on Saturday the 7th (from 9:00 to 20:45 approx.) and Sunday the 8th (from 9:00 to 18:00 approx.). Organized by Club Liceo-Córdoba and the Andalusian Gymnastics Federation.

Rhythmic gymnastics returns to Vista Alegre
Club Liceo-Córdoba, the training ground of Olympic silver medalist Lourdes Mohedano, organizes with the Andalusian Gymnastics Federation the twenty-ninth edition of the National City of Córdoba Tournament, which bears her name. As in recent years, it coincides with the Andalusia Championships, so clubs from Andalusia and other regions come together at the Vista Alegre pavilion. Medals are awarded to the top three in each category and a trophy to the best club of the tournament.
Schedule by day
On Friday, November 6, there are only official training sessions for the absolute groups. On Saturday the 7th, the competition starts around 9:00 with the base groups and the Andalusia Group Championship, with trophy presentations around 14:35; in the afternoon, from 16:00, the Cup and Precup Federation Groups compete, with trophies around 20:45. Sunday the 8th is dedicated from 9:00 to 14:40 to the Base individual Cup, female and male, and in the afternoon, from 15:45 to 18:00, to the Precup for the youngest categories. Times are approximate.
How to get there
The Vista Alegre Municipal Sports Palace is located at Plaza de Vista Alegre, in the Ciudad Jardín neighborhood, and is the usual venue of the organizing club. The club has not announced whether public access has a price, so it is advisable to check on their website or social media beforehand. It is a great opportunity to see gymnasts of all ages live, from pre-benjamins to absolutes, in two consecutive days of competition.
