What it is / What you will see
The Carrera Popular Ciudad de Palma del Río reaches its forty-second edition on Sunday 6 December 2026, right in the Constitution Day long weekend, and opens the final stretch of the provincial calendar. It is part of the Circuito Provincial de Carreras Populares ‘Diputación de Córdoba’ 2026, which brings together 58 races between 1 February and 31 December: 13 in the city and 45 in towns across the province, with 24 races of 10 kilometres or more and 34 over shorter distances. Each race earns points towards the circuit standings, which close with a prize-giving gala.
Getting there and tickets
The date appears in the circuit's official calendar at carreraspopularescordoba.com, where the rules, results and standings are also published. The start time and entry fee are set out in each race's rules; if they do not appear on this page, it is worth checking them there before signing up. Before you go, it is worth checking the original listing, because times, line-ups and sales conditions can change right up to the day of the event.
